Severe Snoring

Severe snoring is often frustrating to a partner and sometimes the partner may become more angry and violent. Its natural that the partner may poke the other with an elbow inorder to stop the noise. Some snorers try to use a pillow over their face in order to avoid the noise. There are nearly more than hundred remedies for resolving this problem. The first and foremost treatment may be avoiding to sleep in a supine position. People with over weight are advised to reduce their weight. It is also necessary to avoid sedatives and alcohol at bed time. If a person is suffering from any nasal congestion he needs to go for treatment to get relief.

Severe snoring often disturbs the relationships of the partners and sleeping in separate bed rooms is not the solution to resolve this problem. It is more important to find the cause of snoring as this helps in improving the overall health and relationships. The throat and nasal tissues are more prone to vibrate for those people who snore. The position of the tongue also disrupts while breathing. Poor sleeping posture is also one of the reasons for snoring.

If a person reaches his middle age then his throat becomes narrow and also makes the muscle tone in the throat decreasing. Men are more prone to snoring than women as they have narrow air passages. People suffering from nasal and sinus problems have blocked airways and this makes their inhalation difficult which ultimately leads to snoring. People who are over weight and are addicted to smoking and drinking are more likely to snore. Lack of sleep makes a person week and their health may be at risk. Some critical health problems like sleep apnea may be developed for those persons who snore severely.

Improvement totally is in your hands. Snorers often feel bit embarrassed with their problem but they need to remember that it is a physical issue. Partners should never take it personally. Open mouth snoring is the issue related to the tissues that are present in the throat and closed mouth snoring is related with the problem in tongue. When snoring is observed in all types of positions then it is advised to consult a physician for the comprehensive treatment. The person's bedroom  should be kept air moist with a humidifier. You can avoid using a pillow or go for a pillow which is designed to make sure that your neck muscles are not crimped.
